We all thought we knew how to properly prepare a tasty pasta meal. But once we saw this man's genius method, we realized how wrong we were.

We figured we knew all there was to know about pasta, but this tutorial proved us wrong. So, we decided to do a little more research into everyone's favorite dish. We were surprised by what we found.

According to ILovePasta.org, "One cup of cooked spaghetti provides about 200 calories, 40 grams of carbohydrates, less than one gram of total fat, no cholesterol and only one gram of sodium when cooked without salt."

Another fun fact: "To cook one billion pounds of pasta, you would need 2,021,452,000 gallons of water - enough to fill nearly 75,000 Olympic-size swimming pools." God only knows how much sauce you would need!

We loved this brilliant pasta tip, but how did you feel about it? Please share your thoughts and feelings with us in the comment section.
