Usually when you have a muffin tin, there's relatively few uses for it outside of outside of baking cupcakes or muffins. In this nifty video though, that old muffin tin you rarely pull out of the cupboard gets a second life. When flipped upside down, the muffin tin becomes the perfect mold for all sorts of baking. In this video, prepackaged biscuit dough becomes the perfect biscuit bowl when you press it onto the muffin tin mold. You can fill it with cheese or chili, as they did in the video, or get creative and put a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream or fruit. However, it doesn't stop there - placing a tortilla in the space in between muffin cups turns your soft tortilla into a tortilla bowl shell. Fill it with lettuce and salsa for a salad or throw taco meat in there for a taco alternative.
Have you tried this already? If so, what do you put inside of your biscuit or tortilla bowl? Do you go savory or sweet? Let us know in the comments down below, we'd love to hear your suggestions.
