This BuzzFeedBlue video features a number of what they deem "magic tricks" that can be done at home with some basic everyday items. The first trick requires a watermelon and a ton of rubber bands - and that's no exaggeration. Two young men wrap hundreds and hundreds of rubber bands around a plump watermelon until the shape begins to alter. Before long, something wild happens.

There are a couple other cool tricks on display in this video. One trick shows you how to blow bubbles through a CD and another shows you how to make a mini flamethrower. Need we mention that you must take extreme precaution with the latter?

Check out the video below to see what happens when hundreds of rubber bands are applied to this watermelon. What did you think of this clip? Will you try any of these tricks at home? Let us know in the comments section.
