Fudge is a great chocolate dessert that is very popular during the holidays. Fudge has been around for a long time, but are you aware of how long? The first record of it was found in a letter that was "written by Emelyn Battersby Hartridge, a student at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She wrote that her schoolmate's cousin made fudge in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1886 and sold it for 40 cents a pound." From there, word spread and everyone started coming up with their own variations. Now you can find it in almost every flavor and color of the rainbow.

YouTuber yoyomax12 was encouraged by her followers to make a rainbow fudge that they found on Pinterest. She decided to give it a try. To make it yourself, all you need is the following ingredients and a microwave (a stove could be used instead as you are just melting the ingredients together):

The ingredient list is pretty basic:
- 36 oz white chocolate or candy melts (6 oz per color)
- 24 oz of sweetened condensed milk (you will need two 14 oz cans, with bit left over
- In my area of the world it is only available in 10 oz cans, so I used 2 and a bit of of a third can
- 1 1/2 tsp flavoring (I used vanilla extract)
- Food color (liquid or paste)

Something to keep in mind if you decide you want to make this colorful treat is that some food colors have been said to add a taste to the food they are added to, especially if you have to add a lot of it. There are many products that say they are "taste-free" and you might want to look for them before making this dessert. Now, check out this video to see how she gets all the colors of the rainbow in one tasty treat.
