Some things in this world are not the same unless paired with the perfect counterpart. Think peanut butter and jelly, a pen and paper, or thunder and lightning. One without the other just isn't quite complete. One of my favorite pairings is dinner and a movie - specifically, a piping hot pizza and a gritty crime drama.
However you take your pizza and whichever genre of movie is your favorite, no one can deny that the two go together perfectly. Pizza and a movie on a Friday night is the most excellent way to end a work week while gathering with friends or family. Now, thanks to Pizza Hut, this just got so much easier.
Pizza Hut recently unveiled the Blockbuster Box, which serves as both a pizza box and a movie projector. Welcome to the 21st century! The box has a hole on the side and comes with a lens, which will project footage from your smartphone. Your order will include a QR code which can be scanned and will then show a number of available movies you can watch. Pretty sweet, right?
The Blockbuster Box is only available in Hong Kong at the moment, but we can only hope that it makes its way overseas in the near future. Do you like the idea? What's your ideal pizza?
