We all know how handy a rice cooker can be, but we've never seen one used like this before. When we stumbled upon this video of a woman using a rice cooker to bake a delicious-looking chocolate cake, we knew we had to share it. The recipe only calls for a handful of ingredients - flour, eggs, cooking oil, sugar, whipped cream, and of course chocolate. It's a fairly simple process to follow and the end result looks scrumptious. Unfortunately she doesn't list the exact measurements of each ingredient, but in watching the video you'll get a pretty good idea of what you need. Just to note - the YouTube uploader mentions in the comments that you should use about a quarter cup of cooking oil.
What do you think about using a rice cooker to bake a cake? It certainly sounds strange, but it came out looking pretty tasty. Do you use your rice cooker for anything other than rice?
